These are hollow screws made of surgically pure Titanium which are surgically placed into the jaw bone. After 3-4 months these screws become osseo-integrated (incorporated into the natural biological structure of the bone) . At this stage it is safe to construct a framework which allows for the rigid attachment of a tooth or teeth.

This option is considered when teeth are lost and there is sufficient height and width of bone remaining. This procedure is mostly carried out under local anaesthetic.

Implants provide the ultimate restorative result for missing teeth.
